Thursday 3/9

Those who had already completed the test worked on MATHia and Desmos Projects today while those who were out yesterday did the Chapter 10 test. One more day before spring break, lets make sure everyone completes everything they need to before we are off!

Wednesday 3/8

For those of us who were in class today, we had the Chapter 10 test. Those of you who were out on the trip we will make up the test tomorrow.

Tuesday 3/7

We finished out the chapter today with Lesson 10.4 where we investigated the slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines.

Instead of working through the textbook pages, we did a Desmos Activity that covered the same concepts. If you didn't finish it in class, please do so at home tonight. Head to student.desmos.com and type in the corresponding class code.

If you were absent today, you're welcome to either do the 10.4 textbook pages, or the Desmos Activity instead. Just make sure you do one of them to prepare for tomorrow's test.

Monday 3/6

We took the Practice CAASPP Test today. This was a little introduction to the way you will be asked questions and what the expectations are on the test later in the year. tomorrow we will head into Chapter 10.4.

Module 7: Systems of Equations and the Desmos Project are both due this Friday, work on it on your own if you need to!

Thursday 3/2

We wrapped up Lesson 10.3 today using all the new concepts we've learned to find missing angle measures.

We have a practice CAASPP Test coming up on Monday, so you can all see the way questions will be asked on the new test for later in the year. Then we will finish Chapter 10 Next week with 10.4 and Take the Chapter 10 Test before break.

This Chapter is going by quickly. For those of you who have missed or will miss any class, make sure we are reviewing the very important key terms and their definitions and trying to do some work at home. Come to me with questions before school or during lunch if you need to.

Wednesday 3/1

 We began our look at pairs of angles today with this Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal activity. Here's a copy of a pdf version for those that don't have PowerPoint at home.

If you were absent today, you'll want to complete the activity linked above before doing your homework. You'll need this Math Is Fun website to learn the meanings of the following terms:
